KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 12.56 g, 12 h), Astibos or Damastion. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΠΑΤΡ-ΑΟΥ Paeonian horse­man, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spea­ring fallen enemy, who defends himself with a shield on his left arm;; below to left, boukranion. Paeonian Hoard 334 (same dies). Peykov E2190. SNG ANS 1030. Nicely toned. Minor marks and the obverse struck slightly off center and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
